For the second time this week, Bootle play a fixture in the Northern Premier Division One West on our home soil, The Berry Street Garage Stadium as we welcome Shropshire based side Shifnal Town who currently sit on thirteen points from eight league games.

Bootle look to improve their home form in the league in the 2025/26 campaign, but today is not an easy ask for Alan Morgan’s side as league newcomers Shifnal Town have had a bright start to their life in the Northern Premier League Division One West.

Shifnal Town are coming off the back of a 2-1 home victory in the Isuzu FA Trophy against Carlton Town last week and will be expected to have a spring in their step as they visit Merseyside today. Connor Patterson will be more than eager to make their positive start to the league even better with a win against Bootle today and to give their fans a delightful trip back to the Midlands.
