Tomorrow afternoon, Bootle FC Women hit the road for the first time this season as they travel to JMO Sports Park to face Clay Brow in what promises to be an exciting clash in the Liverpool Women & Youth Football League.

The Bucks head into the game full of confidence after making a perfect start to their campaign last weekend. Their opening day fixture at The Berry Street Garage Stadium was nothing short of a goal fest, as Bootle ran out 7–4 winners against Parklands Ladies. Star striker Lola Dutton led the charge with a clinical hat-trick, while Poppie O’Neil, Amber Boussemart, and Alicia Bernard all added their names to the scoresheet in an attacking display that underlined the team’s firepower.

While the goals flowed freely, manager and players alike will be looking to tighten things up defensively after conceding four, knowing that tougher tests lie ahead. That balance between attacking flair and defensive solidity will be key as the Bucks look to build momentum in the early weeks of the season.

This fixture represents the Bucks’ first opportunity to test themselves away from home this season. The team will be looking to carry the same energy and attacking intent that served them so well in their opener, while also showing signs of progression as they continue to gel and grow together as a newly founded team.

With confidence high, goals flowing, and plenty of support behind them, Bootle FC Women will be aiming to make it back-to-back victories and send a strong message to the rest of the league that they mean business this year.

Kick-off is set for 2:00pm at JMO Sports Park.
