Jay Roberts signs new deal

Bootle Football Club are delighted to confirm that club captain Jay Roberts has extended his stay with the Bucks for another season.

Jay’s leadership, commitment and experience continue to be invaluable both on and off the pitch, playing a key role within the squad. His contribution was recognised last season as he was named the Club Committee Player of the Year.

Last season also saw him net his second goal for the club in style, scoring directly from a corner.

Everyone at the club is pleased to see Jay remain at the Berry Street Garage Stadium, and manager, staff, players and supporters alike are delighted to keep their captain in a Bucks shirt.

Jay has now made 153 appearances for the club, and we look forward to seeing that number continue to grow in the season ahead.
