History: Shifnal Town FC was founded in 1964 as St Andrew’s Youth Club FC, later becoming Shifnal Juniors in 1968 and adopting the name Shifnal Town in 1972.

After early success in local leagues, they joined the West Midlands Regional League in 1976, winning the Division One title in 1978–79 and back-to-back Premier Division titles in 1980–81 and 1981–82, though promotion was denied due to the lack of floodlights.

A setback came in 1985 when they lost their lease at Admirals Park, prompting a temporary return to school facilities before building their own ground—Phoenix Park, now the Acoustafoam Stadium. Achieving semi-professional status in 1993–94, they became founding members of the Midland Football Alliance and peaked with a 6th-place finish in 1994–95.

Despite relegation in 2003, the club bounced back as West Midlands League Premier champions in 2006–07.

In 2021, Shifnal earned promotion to the Midland League Premier Division and continue to make their mark with strong community ties and notable cup runs, including three FA Vase fourth-round appearances and reaching the FA Cup fourth qualifying round in 1982–83.
