Match Report: Lower Breck 0-4 Bootle FC

Derby Day Demolition as The Bucks put 4 past Lower Breck.

Bootle defeat Lower Breck 4-0 at the Anfield Community Sports Centre and reach four league wins out of four league games.

The opening twenty or so minutes of the game was tightly contested as both teams seemed rather cautious of one another and still trying to figure each other out, up until a ball from a corner ended up in the path of Matty Fenton who smashed the ball into the top corner to give Bootle the lead. Bootle doubled the scoreline just five minutes later as Declan Daniels managed to get his lower body onto a dropped ball and it went past Lower Breck keeper Alex Brown to put Bootle 2-0 up.

After only two minutes of making it 2-0, Bootle scored again as Ryan Beigan cut in on his left foot and put it into the bottom near corner after some fantastic build up play starting from Lewis Doyle in midfield, Lower Breck mustn’t of known what hit them at this point as the opening twenty odd minutes were tight and competitive. Further chances came from Ryan Beigan to get his second of the game and also Ste Edmondson but none amounted to a goal before the end of the half and Bootle headed into the tunnel 3-0 ahead.

Not long into the second half, Lower Breck seen red as Liam Morris received a straight red card for leaving his foot in on Jack Lenehan after the two went in for a challenge which seen the Lower Breck man headed for an early shower. Nearly fifteen minutes later another Lower Breck shirt was sent off after Elliot Hughes was also given a straight red after a late challenge from behind on Lewis Doyle which left Lower Breck with only nine men left on the field.

Bootle shortly capitalised on the numbers game as the ball fell to Declan Daniels in the Lower Breck area with his back to goal but after a sharp turn and a sweet hit of the ball which flew into Alex Brown’s right hand bottom corner, Bootle were then 4-0 ahead. The match ended 4-0 to Bootle in what was another emphatic victory away from home as we continue our fantastic run in the Northern Premier League Division One West.
