Welcome to Bootle FC, Connor Rankin

Bootle FC are delighted to announce the signing of forward, Connor Rankin, following his departure from Vauxhall Motors.

Rankin, 24, started his playing career at Rhyl, before moving into the English Non-League Setup with Maghull. After a 3 year spell with Maghull, he moved across Liverpool to Anfield Sports Centre where he played for Lower Breck in the North West Counties Football League Premier Division.

Moving up the leagues after an impressive stint at Breck, Rankin joined Nantwich Town in November 2023, staying at the Swansaway Stadium until February 2024 where he joined Vauxhall Motors and formed an exciting trio alongside Nick Rushton and Kevin Ellison, firing the Motors to the play-off positions last year.

Rankin will join up with Alan Morgan's squad when they return for pre-season training next week.
