After 253 appearances and 104 goals, Tom Peterson has today said farewell to Bootle Football Club.

After two spells with the club, initially signing as a young striker from Fleetwood, and then returning after a successful spell away from the club. Tom quickly re-established himself as a fan and player favourite.

He broke his 100 goal mark for the club away at 1874 Northwich and in doing so became the highest goalscorer for Bootle FC this century.

Tom leaves with our best wishes. Thanks for the goals, the memories and all of your endeavour Tom. All the very best of luck for the future.
