Cooper and Miley depart the Bucks

Bootle FC can today confirm that James Cooper and Anthony Miley have left the club.

Cooper made 101 appearances for Bootle, scoring three goals since arriving at the Berry Street Garage Stadium in 2021 from Prescot Cables. Jay was a statement signing for the Bucks, being a long-serving player for the Bulls before arriving in L30. Jay won Bootle FC Committee Player of the Season in 2023.

Anthony Miley enjoyed two spells at Bootle, originally signing as a 16-year-old and was part of the North West Counties Division One winning side. Over his two stints, Miley became a fan favourite, making 145 appearances and scoring 10 goals.
