After a Rylands freekick, it was scrappy to get the ball clear, but Callum Dolan’s effort squeezed just past the post.
Kane Drummond gave the title-hopeful Rylands the lead when a ball over the top was control by the Rylands man, before placing past Theo Roberts.
Bootle started to grow back into the game as half time loomed. Tom Peterson had a header which went just wide, before a scrappy corner hit the top of the crossbar before Rylands cleared the danger.
Bootle kicked on second half and were the team in control. In no time, the Bucks netted two in quick succession to give them the lead. The first from a ball across the box and a flick by Tom Peterson slowly went past Grahame McCall into the net. The second coming from Ben Hodkinson, who’s left footed shot flew past McCall.
Rylands pegged back and scored an equalsier, much to the jubilation of the fans. A corner swung in was met by Andrew Scarisbrick, who’s acrobatic effort took a deflection and took it away from Theo Roberts.
Rylands we’re looking for the winner and two great effort came to grab the third. The second goalscorer for the Blues, Andrew Scarisbrick, hit a strike from the edge of the area going past the post, then a thunderous strike from a Rylands man forced Theo Roberts into a flying stop, tipping the ball onto the bar.
