Brilliant play by Jordan Wynne was laid off to Ben Hodkinson, who crossed for debutant Charlie Holland, and his header was tipped onto the under side of the bar by Chris Thompson and trickled over the line to give the Bucks the lead.
Almost instantly, Clitheroe got their equaliser when from a scrappy corner, Max Cane bundled past Theo Roberts.

Clitheroe grew more into the match and took the lead when Jamie Edwards cut in on his right and a fierce strike from 25-yard flew past Theo Roberts.
Another chance for the away side when Jack Burrows deflected effort forced Theo Roberts into a low stop, which he saved splendidly.
The final few minutes saw some chances for Bootle as they desperately pushed for an equaliser. A low drive by Declan McLoughlin was pushed out to Tom Peterson, who was denied from point-blank range by Chris Thompson.
