Bucks Hit Avro For Seven

Bootle claimed back-to-back victories after hitting Avro for seven at the Berry Street Garage Stadium.

Just four days after coming from behind to beat Longridge Town and end a run of three straight defeats, Joe Doran's side went goal crazy in a ruthless first half display here.

A Rob Doran brace squashed in between a Carl Peers strike did the damage on Tuesday night, and Peers was back amongst the goals here, firing his side ahead on seven minutes.

A quick-fire double from Cameron Dalton then handed the Bucks a three-goal lead inside the opening 16 minutes.

Avro would get one back through Kiarno Samms, but John Connolly increased his side's lead on the half-hour mark before Connor Millington finished a fine team move for number five before the half-time interval.

Alexander Frost then put the ball through his own net a minute into the second half before Carl Peers, after Kyle Jacobs had netted a consolation, completed the scoring two minutes from time.
