Bootle FC U16s 1 vs 2 Dynamo Rangers

We turned up today in confident mood despite the amount of missing players that we had to cater for.

It was an early kick off and by the looks of us after the warm up, the lads were not their usual concentrated selves.

But i was still confident we would have enough to get a result.

How wrong was i, after 20 minutes of the kick off we were one nil and we had started as poorly as i can remember in any game.

There was no energy and we were second to every ball, it was unlike us.

HT 0-1

They were told in no uncertain times at the half time team talk that it was unacceptable.
We improved tenfold in the second half but still not at our standards, it was defence v attack most of the game with us on the attack.
We got caught on the break and were two nil down but Sean pulled a goal back and we were unlucky with goal line clearance, penalty calls waived away to not get a draw in the end.

FT 1-2

We got in the game at too late a stage and in this league you are unable to do so, its not acceptable to start a game so sloppy as we will pay for every time if so.
The lads were told at the end that i will not tolerate this going forwards, if carries on changes will be made.
