Wonder goal in close battle
A fabulously entertaining game was a treat for all spectators. The Blues making a change in goal with Harry bravely making himself available despite not being a 100%.
Blues started off well and created a couple of half chances. Yet again there was a lot of good passing moves from blues. The yellows countered attacked with pace in what was an enthralling battle. After a spell of pressure from blues it was the yellows who took the lead slightly against the run of play.
Undeterred by the set - back blues again pushed forward and were unlucky with a couple of shots going narrowly wide of the target. As half time approached yellows produced another lightening attack that led to their 2nd goal of the game.

The 2nd half was an open affair with both sides going close. As the half wore on the blues were pushing for a goal to give themselves a foothold in the match and from a free kick from a good position on the right Nathan fired the ball towards the goal, yellows keeper palmed the ball away but James followed up to head the ball past the keeper. 2-1 game on.
Both sides were battling hard at this point and a 4th goal looked a certainty and it soon arrived, unfortunately it yellows who took their chance to make it 3-1.
Straight from the kick off Cameron passed the ball to Chloe who returned the ball one touch to Cameron, Cameron stroked the ball out to James 1st touch, James then slid an inch perfect pass between 2 defenders for Nathan to finish superbly into the top corner of the net for an outstanding team goal to make it 3-2.
Blues pushed everyone forward in the remaining couple of minutes but despite launching in one or two late free kicks were unable to get an equalizer as the yellows Goalie pulled off some decent saves meaning the blues slipped to their first defeat in 4.
Another good team performance but the stand out player was Nathan with his never say die attitude and stunning strike was Man of the Match.
