Having spent the latter part of last season at AFC - Nevitt had previously spent time at City of Liverpool, Burscough, as well as local league side, Waterloo Dock.

Speaking on Nevitt’s arrival manager Phil Stafford said: “Firstly, I’m delighted to welcome Elliott to the club.

“He’s a player I’ve admired since his days playing for City of Liverpool and he fits perfectly into the way we want to play this season.

“We almost signed Elliott last summer but for one reason or another it never happened, but I’m delighted to finally land him this time round. He’s a strong, dynamic player that is direct and knows where the net is.”
