A win tonight against Clitheroe who are yet to lose in 2024 would push Bootle just 3 points behind fellow Merseysiders Prescot Cables whilst widening the points gap from Witton Albion to 4 points.

Clitheroe are undefeated in 2024 and sit just 3 points behind the play off areas, if Clitheroe get a result against their visitors they will then edge above Witton Albion on goal difference. The Blues will surely bring their A game in front of a home crowd tonight in order to push for a potential promotion at the end of the season, and a win at Shawbridge would be a huge step in the right direction.
