A look at today's Northern Premier League Division One West encounter

By Brendan Doyle

Today Bootle hosts Nantwich Town FC as both sides face each other here at The Berry Street Garage Stadium for 3 points and strive towards aiming their seasonal objectives.

In Bootle’s last outing they were faced with the outcome of a 1-1 draw against Kidsgrove Athletic but many Bootle fans will feel like they could’ve had the game wrapped up in their favour due to some close chances at the later stages of the game, but nonetheless Bootle are still undefeated in 3 games for the first time in months after a dip in form, however 7 points in 3 games isn’t so bad at all and surely The Bucks will fancy themselves to extend their undefeated run to 4 games today.

The visitors from Cheshire have too went 3 games unbeaten, picking 2 draws and 1 win. Just like their opponents today, Nantwich will be very eager to keep the momentum going and to push on to achieve their end of season goal. For now The Dabbers sit amongst the mid table area, but if they come away with 3 points in today’s match a shout for a top half finish for them will be a very strong possibility.
