Today Bootle welcome Kidsgrove Athletic to The Berry Street Garage Stadium who made their trip up here today from Staffordshire in the search of 3 points for the first time since December 23rd.
Bootle seemed to have found their form again after picking up 2 wins in their last 2 games, including a win while visiting Bucks boss Mick McGraa’s old stomping ground Vauxhall Motors last week. Despite going almost 2 months without a win in their league campaign, Bootle will be aware of the threat and hunger their visitors may impose as they will be desperately battling for an eventual victory after a lengthy time without one.
It’s safe to say the Kidsgrove Athletic faithful have been through the mill the past 7 weeks, from seeing their team get off to a blistering start to their league campaign hanging around the top end of the table to yet to win a game in 2024. Nonetheless I’m sure they will be here today in their numbers cheering their side on and getting behind the team, and what a trip back to the Midlands it would be for The Grove if they were to finally come away from a league game with all 3 points here on Merseyside.
