This evening Mick McGraa’s squad travel to the DCBL Stadium in Widnes to take on City Of Liverpool FC, which is a massive opportunity for Bootle to go up to second place in the table with a win tonight.
Tonight’s game is probably Bootle’s biggest game of the season in terms of stepping closer to securing a play off position. A win would put The Bucks in joint second on points, the fact that tonight is also a derby game makes the fixture all the more interesting.
The Purps are also battling for a play off position and a win tonight would see them go into the play off positions as they have a game in hand on Witton Albion who currently sit a place above them in the table. City Of Liverpool FC defeated Bootle 2-0 the last time the two sides met, a similar result tonight would be huge for The Purps.
